A nursery day

  • PlayPlus follow each baby’s home routine as closely as possible.
Communication between home and Nursery is both verbal and written. An individual Daily Diary is filled in by each parent for staff to follow, and in turn, staff fill in details of how the day actually turned out, including notes on activities and play.
  • Time throughout the day is given to free play, language input and the introduction of varied activities.
  • Whenever possible the babies go into their own garden for a play or sleep or go for an outing in prams or pushchairs.
  • Older babies have mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks (approximate times: 10.00a.m & 3.30p.m) and lunch at approximately 12.00 midday
